That's cool. Where did you find it?

It lives in the Park/zoo of my old hometown in Wisconsin. I was snapping pics and just kind of ended up with this one. It looks so mean and crazy I just love the picture. It's like a funny joke without any words (to those who get my sense of humore, anyway! hahah).

Are the feathers of its tail white too? I think I'm going to participate in Wordless Wednesday today too but in a bit.

Poor thing someone washed all his colors away. Or maybe it was his/her children...turned his/her hair all white he.he.he.

Oohhh it would have been really cool to see the tail spread out too.
Very cool!

it is great when the absence of color ends up making something special.

Dude. It's looking at me. It wants to peck out my eyes. No, birdie! Not my eyes!! Nooooooo!

Seriously, is it just me (and my eyes) or is that one angry-looking bird?

Haha! No, not just you. That bird IS very angry! Maybe because it's colorless. Maybe because it's been at that zoo since I can remember (how long do those things live, anyway!? Hmm, wiki doesn't know, but they did have a picture of a white peafowl with the tail full, worker mommy!)

Anyway, yes. A VERY cranky old bird who rarely poses for pictures. :)

Awesome picture! My eldest is always on the look out for albino anything. We have 2 albino squirrels that run around. Very special, indeed.

Is that the creepy one who runs around un-caged?

That thing scares the CRAP out of me.

I just came back to giggle at the birdie pic.

Woah. That is WEIRD. I love albino animals. I saw an albino crocodile at the New Orleans zoo many years ago and I still think of it fondly.

Ooohhh. So cool. I love albino animals- we have a squirrel by our house. I've named him "Honkey squirrel"
