An Honor

Our Dearest Brillig talked me into submitting my post "Hunted" to indiebloggers.org. Only NOW am I glad she did, as they featured it today!

I'm probably a giant geekler for announcing this, but the anxiety produced waiting was a terrible burden that I am happy to unload!

Leave me a bunch of comments so I look cool, okay? ;)

Holy crap!!!! That's SO COOL!!!!! And now you hate me just a little bit less, don't you! I'm so glad they featured it. They would have been COMPLETE idiots to not feature it. It's positively excellent.

B, it is absolutely fantastic and I'm proud that we could feature it. I think it's my favorite post we have ever received through the site. It literally gave me chills - I felt like I was there. I cannot wait to read more of you; I'm so glad you joined!

Also, I cannot help but notice that you have astonishingly great taste in music! ;) (I'm a fellow music junkie.)

Thanks again for posting.

I am so glad you submitted this. I personally think you could put the whole story in a short stories book. I have read a few womens books with short stories about things that happened to each woman in their lives and I just couldn't put them down. Each book had about 5-8 stories from 5-8 different women. I went to the site and put in my 2 cents of YEAH GO Amy! Loved the story...because I really did!

mommasworld - do remember the names of those books?

jurgen nation - I'm even MORE honored now that you came to comment on my geekler announcement!

Brill- just a little bit less - but I love you a whole lot more!! Does that work out? Sure. Whatever.

Congrats!! That was a fantastic post.

I'm so pissed I missed the conclusion. I was so wrapped up in my own little self pity party that I totally spaced it.

I wish I could remember the names of the books. I was so taken in with them I told my little sister and she took off with them (Love her). I know I picked them up at the airport. I will try to find another one at the bookstore and let you know.

In the short time that we've "known" one another I quickly surmised that you kick a lot of ass! Now the rest of the world is beginning to see it too!

Yay, A! (I was going to say Yay Burtfly but its cooler this way cuz it rhymes , see! )

(Followed Brillig's referral). Jeez your story brought on such a deja vu feeling that it's gonna take me a while to get over it! Funny how one can fail to use one's intelligence at such critical times. Glad it had a happy ending, though I know it cost you a lot to get there. And congrats on the award. See, good things can come out of bad experiences.
